Carlsbad, CA (April 23, 2004) – Great Lakes Data Systems, Inc. announced today has successfully implemented its WinCable® billing software at World on Wireless (WOW) of Bermuda. The billing system implementation includes conditional access control (provisioning) for the Conax CAS5 conditional access system – the first such deployment anywhere in North America.

The ability to control Conax digital was obviously important to us,” according to Bill Craig, CEO of WOW. “But we needed more than just provisioning. The WinCable software offered the billing, subscriber management, and credit card billing features we had to have – and it was affordable.”

The entire implementation, including development of the Conax interface, was completed and delivered in less than sixty days. “We were on a tight schedule, and Great Lakes Data Systems told us they could deliver in time, Craig said. “They did.”
